Campaign Finance

This database includes contribution and expenditure information for state candidates and political committees filed prior to January 1, 2007. Legislative changes that took effect January 1, 2007 significantly changed campaign finance reporting in Oregon and required the Secretary of State to develop a new searchable campaign finance database. The new database is called ORESTAR and can be accessed by clicking here.

Campaign disclosure for candidates running for federal office (U.S. Senate and U.S. Representative) falls under the jurisdiction of the Federal Elections Commission and disclosure reports are filed with that Commission. You can visit their web site at www.fec.gov.

Beginning with the 2004 General Election, contribution and expenditure reports, including amendments, can be viewed as a .pdf, using the free Adobe Acrobat© Reader. For most reports filed before the 2004 General Election only summary information (total contributions, total expenditures, etc.) is available.
